Job description

About Payflows

AI is rewriting how enterprises run. Payflows is the platform making it happen.

The world’s largest companies are held back by complexity, disconnected systems, slow approvals, and manual workflows across Finance, Procurement, and Operations.

Payflows is building the agentic finance system, connecting every process, person, and system so work just flows. Approvals route automatically, payments execute intelligently, and leaders gain real-time visibility into how, when, and why payments are made.

In a world where speed, control, and intelligence define competitive advantage, Payflows enables global enterprises to operate with precision, powered by AI. One intelligent platform, endless possibilities.

The role

We’re hiring a GTM Engineer / Head of Growth to own the system that puts Payflows in front of the finance and procurement leaders rebuilding their enterprises with AI.

You’ll own the architecture beneath outbound, the signal layer, the data infrastructure, the reporting that tells us whether what we’re doing is working. You’ll define the roadmap, build it, and ship the results.

This is an individual contributor role with a real mandate, build the growth function from scratch to a pipeline machine. You’ll work directly with our Global Head of GTM.

What you’ll do

  • Own top-of-funnel as a system. Pipeline created from outbound is the number on the wall. You’ll architect the machine that drives it, not run the plays, build the system the plays run on.

  • Operationalise the signal layer. We surface intent signals across hundreds of accounts. Your job is to turn that into pipeline reliably, the right signal, to the right rep, at the right moment, with closed-loop feedback on what worked.

  • A smarter ICP and territory model. We’ve built a tiered account framework across the UK, France, and the Nordics. There’s real upside in making that model dynamic, accounts moving tiers based on live signals, reps automatically assigned.

  • AI agents inside our own GTM motion. We sell AI Teammates to finance teams. The same thinking belongs internally, research agents that brief reps before a call, qualification agents that pre-score inbound, enrichment agents that keep our data fresh without a credit hemorrhage. If you’ve shipped agents in production before, this is where it shows.

  • Reporting that actually changes behaviour. Calls-to-discovery, sequence efficacy, signal-to-pipeline conversion, rep performance by territory, surfaced in a way that drives weekly decisions, not quarterly slide reviews.

Your call which of these matters most, in what order, and what we’re missing entirely.

Job requirements

You’ll do well here if

  • You’ve built GTM systems from scratch before at early stage companies - YOU HAVE THE PLAYBOOK. Not advised on them, not inherited them. The verbs in your past work are built, shipped, instrumented, rewrote.

  • You measure yourself on pipeline, not workflows shipped. You’ve been close enough to revenue to know the difference between a thing that works and a thing that runs.

  • You’re technical enough to be dangerous. Comfortable in code. You can read an API doc and ship an integration without an engineer holding your hand.

  • You think in systems. You see a funnel as a system with leaks, not a list of tools. You have opinions about signal noise, attribution honesty, and what “intent” actually means, informed by having been wrong before.

  • You operate, not coordinate. You see a broken process and fix it. You don’t need a ticket, a process, or permission.

  • You’re energised by ambiguity. You’ll inherit a working stack, a live team, and an unwritten roadmap. You’ll find the order yourself.

Backgrounds that tend to fit

  • At-least 4 year - Growth, or RevOps Engineering at a B2B SaaS scaling.

  • Analytics Engineering with a GTM lean, you modelled the funnel, then started fixing it.

  • Ideally Ex-founder or early operator who built your own company’s GTM stack.

Why this is the right move

  • A category being rebuilt in real time. Enterprise finance is one of the largest software markets there is, you’d be inside the company defining what AI-native looks like, not waiting for the market.

  • A real mandate. Direct partnership with the Global Head of GTM, direct line to the CEO. You define what gets built.

  • Backed by Balderton and Ribbit. Working product, working sales motion, real customers.

  • Paris HQ, real GTM team, weekly shipping cadence. European expansion in motion.

  • Opportunity to scale the team.
